Re: If you knew the day you conceived...
With #3 I knew (charting) and he was born at exactly 40weeks by my count (well, I counted 2 days as my edd bc I o'd overnight and ha a small rise the following day before the full jump)
With #1-I was not charting, but based on charting with #3 and finding I O'd on cd17 instead of cd14 it made sense that she was born just minutes shy of 3 days past dates. With this one, I'm fairly certain I'll go right to 40weeks and I'll be shocked if I had the baby 2 weeks early..like, I wouldn't believe it and would prob have the baby accidentally at home or on the highway.

Re: If you knew the day you conceived...
I went through IVF so I definately knew when i conceived. Ended up delivering exactly at 39 weeks. A friend of mine also went through IVF 2 weeks before I did and delivered a week after me.

I knew my ovulation date with all three pregnancies. DS was born at a few days past 38w and DD was born at 37w1d. LO3 is due 4/15 but I'm expecting any time after 3/25, based on the other two deliveries.
My friend didn't track her ovulation at all and had both her babies on their due dates. Go figure!

Re: If you knew the day you conceived...
I've always wondered this, OP, so I'm subbing to see if there are more responses. I know the exact date of conception for this pregnancy, so I'm curious to see how "accurate" 40 weeks is.

I knew exactly when DS was conceived. The 12 week ultrasound was off by 4 days. He was born at 39+5 according to the US, or 39+1 by the actual date.
The first ultrasound for with this pregnancy, coincidentally (or not?) was also off by 4 days. We'll find out in a few weeks how close to his EDD he comes.

Re: If you knew the day you conceived...
I know the exact date that both of my kids were conceived. We just don't DTD all that often and I was/am a 28 dayer, O'ing on CD14. With DD, the U/S I got at, according to LMP, 9w3d showed baby was exactly that. She came on her own at 38+3.
With DS, I got an U/S at, according to LMP, was 8w5d, but he measured at 7w6d. However, that was impossible because we only DTD ONE day the month he was conceived, so my OB said he was just measuring small for dates. He consistently was 5 days behind at all three U/S. He came all on his own at 39+3. I think he was just behind for his gestational age and needed the extra week(over my pregnancy with DD) to catch up.
