Congrats! I highly recommend shopping at consignment/thrift shops FIRST and OFTEN, lol. Register for EVERYTHING because I know Target and Amazon (and I think Babies R Us) will discount some things that haven't been purchased off your registry once you get closer to your due date. So even if you don't think anyone will buy it for you, register anyway because you might get it at a discount!

To Buy:
I'm not sure yet, since DS is still young, we saved a lot. I think if we find out we're having a girl I'll buy a few girly things but for the most part we have basics covered.

To Do:
Keep it secret for another 7 weeks
Transition DS to solids at a year, he can still nurse if he wants, but once he's completely on solids I want to night wean so I can have some chance at sleep

Transition DS from sidecar crib to his own room, not sure if we should get another crib (new baby will take up residence in sidecar) or just skip straight to the toddler bed, DS will be 18m when baby is born...

Ooo fun okay here is my list...

To Buy
-newborn Goodmamas
-newborn wool
-maternity clothes
-a car that can fit 3 car seats...oy vey!

To Do
-get twins girls out of family bed and into a sibling bed
-find all our newborn stuff I stashed

-meet and pick our midwife
-get a strong and firm game face to defend my choice to birth at home!!

Cloth diapers (unsure what yet )
Fabric to make wipes
Maternity clothes
Car seat for DS2

To Do

Find new house
Go through all my diapers I already have.
Don't slip to family yet, I can't deal with it.
Go on Birth Center tour (April 25 @7pm)
Apply for insurance and then make appt. with Midwife.
Move Car seats around

That is all for now, I know I will be adding to this list!

You can do it mama!!! I got a lot of crap from dh's family. I stuck to my guns and by the 2nd homebirth they still didn't like what I was doing, but they didn't say anything other then I know what I was doing

Thanks mama! I really feel like it is MY choice with my DH blessing (which he gave) but my mom is SO against it and will give me nothing but grief. I haven't told her that we are preggo and I am not planning on telling her for a while. Maybe I just wont tell her we are home birthing until after LO arrives

Prepare babies room
finish organizing and purging house
get the attic cleared out and organized
Go through and inventory baby items in storage
start looking up recipie ideas for freezer meals to make later
find a birthing prep course

chicco keyfit 3o in gender neutral color
If I am having a girl I will be getting a adien and anias swaddle blanket in girly colors
maybe a woombie
a new baltic amber necklace for baby
