Re: For how long did you exclusively breast feed?
My DS was EBF until he was 9.5 months, and I'm finally very proud to say we made it that far. After a series of very bad bites, and me being so scared to nurse, he decided he not longer wanted to nurse and I pumped for another month, and after that we went to formula. I so wanted him to self wean, and I think we somewhat achieved that.

Re: For how long did you exclusively breast feed?
We exclusively breastfed for 6 months. We did babyled solids. I gave DD a few pieces of fruit and some babyfood around 6 months but she really wasn't interested so I waited. She started getting more interested in solids around 7-9 months. She NEVER liked purees and I didn't push them, but I just gave her what I was eating, chopped up on her tray and she ate it if she wanted it. She gradually ate more and more but breastmilk was still her primary nutrition for well past a year. She really picked up eating after a year, but slowed down when she was getting her molars around 15 months. Now at almost 18 months she still nurses but eats mostly regular food. We just take her lead, but I make sure to offer her food 3 or 4x a day. I only recently started putting nursing limits because she'll sign for nursing but then only take one little suck then get distracted and that was driving me batty.

My LO just started eating puréed fruit and veggies and will eat chopped up 'whatever we are eating'. She is closing in on 11 months. Nurses 5-10 times per day. She's my first baby that simply wasn't interested in food. Interestingly, she's also my first baby that refuses a bottle.

Re: For how long did you exclusively breast feed?
5.5mths here. He has just started really liking the purees at 7mths. I don't do BLW for a variety of reasons. He still nurses 7+ times a day and has never had formula.

My third child was EBF for a year. He was not interested in solids at all! My fourth was way different and started grabbing food off our plates when she was about 6 months or so. Every baby is different! I wanted to EBF for a year, but she was adamant about trying solids. I would suggest that you go with baby's cues!

Re: For how long did you exclusively breast feed?
DS2 turned 1 yr yesterday. And he's still EBF. No formula, no foods. Nothing but good ol' mama's milk!
I've been putting foods in front of him for about 3 months now, and he has shown zero interest. But that's ok with me, I love nursing him!

Re: For how long did you exclusively breast feed?
DD1 started solids at 7.5 months but didn't really start eating regular "meals," til she was 10 months. I. continued nursing until she weaned herself at 17 months
