Yes, testers are just to cover your actual cost & shipping. But, that formula for when you go into "actual" business sounds about right!

Keeping an eye out for your tester thread too if you decide to test them. Love the idea of sending fabric in too. I have had some for quite a while that I have been meaning to quilt.
