Is cooked sushi ok?**Update pg.3**

My midwives assure me that all sushi - raw and cooked - is safe if eaten at a reputable restaurant. It's a great source of lean protein. All sushi (in Canada at least) has to be frozen at a certain temperature for a specified amount of time to kill off any parasites or bacteria. Just try not to eat too much large fish that can contain mercury.

What's more interesting is WHY you're asking?!

Yes I've eaten quite a bit of sushi this pregnancy. Raw and cooked alike. I just love SUSHI! Great now you have me craving sushi again

Thanks soo much everyone.

It's not 'official" yet--but AF was missed big time. I had very bfp opks on Monday,March 5th(we dtd that evening) & well--I was expecting AF as usual & well--nothing at all.

So I'm being extra careful w/ making sure take all my rx folic acid,vitamins,watch my nutrition & carbs & take ubber care of myself in case this is my chance at a miracle baby!

Almost cannot believe it,feels too good to be true. Funny thing is I was finally at peace(mostly) w/ just dh,I & Jim and Sarah. I'd sold all my baby gear (except the basinett).My once huge cd stash is now down to a dozen standard Birdseye hemp prefolds,4 dyed embellished prefolds,5 Mother Ease fitteds,1 small Sandy fitted,4 obv/flannel wipes,1 xl Bumkin's AIO,lg covers(from dd Sarah) & only 4 random newborn fitteds & 1 newborn cover!! That's it.

Thankfully I haven't sold any wool--I have newborn-large wool soakers & longies.

I will keep you all posted for sure.

Looks like a Nov.26th bean--right before my birthday.

I couldn't drink my usual cup of coffee this am--tasted bad.So weird for me! Soo sleepy lately too.

Cooked would be fine, but I prefer raw and ate that when I felt like it during both pregnancies. There are lots of things that are more likely to make you sick than properly prepared sushi (one like cafo meat).
