We have an Angelcare Monitor I bought with the last baby and I was planning to use it again....but then I saw the Snuza and thought that it might be more accurate since it actually touches baby and can even vibrate to stimulate a baby that isn't breathing before it sounds the alarm.
Has anyone owned either/both of these and willing to share their experience and advice?

Re: Baby Monitoring....Angelcare or Snuza?
![]() I was going to buy Angelcare monitors for my twins, but instead decided on the Snuzas. I got the portable one though; doesn't vibrate, but is smaller and cheaper. Haven't had a chance to use them yet though.

Re: Baby Monitoring....Angelcare or Snuza?
Sometimes Amazon sells them used for $60-$70! I got mine used... and the next day, the used price dropped by another $10. If you're comfortable buying one used, it definitely saves a pretty penny.

That's good to know! Especially since they sell replacement batteries. There aren't any used right now, but I'll keep a look out.

Re: Baby Monitoring....Angelcare or Snuza?
I haven't used one, but am thinking of getting a Snuza. We have a hammock, and I like that the Snuza would work there. I also like that it is portable so I could use it when we go places. I just wonder if I would have problems with it fitting over cloth diapers!

I had an Angelcare w/DD and loved it. She was swaddled for 6+ mo and couldn't roll over until nearly 9 mo so we didn't have many false alarms though. Our Angelcare monitor finally clonked out recently so I am debating between the two myself for this next LO. Seriously can't decide!!!
