Re: Who's finding out/not?

Team green, all the way. This is either going to be the 5th girl or the 1st boy, and that means 9 solid months of torturing everyone who wants to know NOW.

OOHHH that would be exciting!!!!!!

My problem is that I KNOW...and by that I mean, I can look at the u.s and I KNOW what I am looking at...so when they go to that area, I would know anyways....that and I can't contain myself...if I can find out a surprise early...by ALL means I want to know!

Catie~ Your DD is SO cute!

Re: Who's finding out/not?

I'm in the same boat I was last pg: I want a surprise, DH wants to know. With DS, we found out but wouldn't tell anyone (including our families) what name we had picked out. That way there was still some "surprise" and BONUS, people couldn't turn up their noses go, "Really? You're going what that?" because by the time they heard the name there was a cute baby to distract them

I also found out that when strangers asked questions, not telling anybody the name set up a boundary and they pretty much stopped asking questions when they realized I wasn't going to spill my guts lol. So I will have something secret about the baby, whether it's gender or name, if for no other reason than to dodge strangers questions without being rude (though I'm not above that either ).

We'll be finding out. Labor is enough of a surprise for me, I like already knowing the gender. I like deciding on a name, and calling the baby that name during pregnancy .

Me too I LOVE calling the baby by its name but we always keep the names a secret until baby arrives, I don't care what other people think about the name so I just don't want to hear it for 9 months. For some reason people think that your name choice is negotiable until the baby arrives

We don't keep our names a secret, and we got a lot of negative comments about DS1 (Bodie) and DS2 (Oren). But now those same people comment on how perfectly their names suit them.
