Re: Vaccine links

I've been asked to update my links in here so....

new strain of strep
http://www.reuters.com/article/2007/...32730620071018

http://pediatrics.aappublications.or...13/6/1735.full

Vaccines and ethics

http://www.pnas.org/content/90/7/3014.abstract
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC88921/

MMR
http://pediatrics.aappublications.or...3/383.abstract

Vaccines that use fetal cells
http://www.cogforlife.org/vaccineListOrigFormat.pdf
this is a Religious website...sorry for that but you can find the information confirmed elsewhere if you like this was just the best way to have it all in one place.

VAERS
http://vaers.hhs.gov/index

NVICP
http://www.hrsa.gov/vaccinecompensation/index.html

CDC's pink book (this helped me make all my decisions)
http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/pubs/pinkbook/index.html

MMWR another good one
http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/

I have also read 909shot and thinktwice and I think they both have some valid points to make and some information to share, but I did ultimately make my decisions based on the numbers and information from the CDC.

agreed....kind of hard to trust any person or organization who makes money from pushing vaccines. Offit is in bed with Merck.

Sorry, I just don't see why he shouldn't make money from it. He's a professional with many degrees, spent 25 years developing the rotavirus vax. Would you work for free? Especially after years of schooling? Of course he makes money, it's his job. I don't see how it discredits him, in the least.

Re: Vaccine links

Why not just post the new and updated links to the existing stickied thread? Or ask a mod to make a new one?

Just because research is a year or two old, and/or isn't something you agree with, doesn't mean it's definitively obsolete.

most of the links in the original thread are no longer active (except the most recent ones)...I think its time that a new thread was started so that you don't have to spend time sifting through bad links...there's also new information that has come out since the original thread was started and I feel like old information is bad information if you don't know the rest of the story.

Subbing for updates later. I think it's a great idea to update information.

I don't see anything wrong with him making money but I can't trust someone that says a child can handle 10,000 vaccines at one time.

He seems a little loony - but that's just my opinion, of course

Quackwatch is a great website, glad to see you included it OP. I also found the vaccine link sticky in need of serious updates and more basic CDC links. Hope your links make it in there.
