Re: What has your favorite age to parent been?
It's hard to say. I love the squishy veggie baby stage when you first bring them home from the hospital. Babies are so fat and cute and snuggly. Toddlers are just an endless source of amazement, and it's so fun to watch this little person develop & shine as his/her own person. And pre-schoolers are so interesting - I love talking to my oldest and finding out his own thoughts/opinions about things. It's fascinating to see the little man that he is growing into, someone so like me yet so different from me.

I love the 0-2 year stage the most. As they get older they become more self-sufficiant but they talk back so much and there is fighting and arguing.

Right now I have an almost 2yo and a 6wk old. Newborn squishiness is great but the toddler is so much fun and he has a wonderful personality. Honestly I can't wait for the baby to be about 9mo.

Re: What has your favorite age to parent been?
I was really young and depressed when my son was an infant, so sadly I didn't enjoy that stage at all
I really liked when he was 3-4 and started turning into his own little person. He is 6.5 now and I love being his mom. However, parenting a 6 year old is so much more challenging than a toddler some days! The attitude and back talking drives me nut...but I know it's just a phase!

I love the toddler stage, when they're learning so much. It's so fun to see them growing and learning every day.
I so totally hate the teen years. I have 2 (16 and 17) and would trade the attitude and the "I don't have to listen to you" mentality for the joys of toddlerhood

I voted toddler. But I only have a toddler.
But I did not like the newborn stage at all. I am having much more fun now that she's eating and climbing and talking and even having differing opinions from her mom. I think I will like preschool and school ages even more. I want another baby, but I am dreading the first year.

Re: What has your favorite age to parent been?
I would say the 2-3 yr. old group. They're just SO FUN at that age. I love it!
I also kinda of like having an older teen-ager (kinda lol). My step-son will be 18 in October and while it's been a challenge, it's nice that he can relate on a more adult level of thinking. I'm NOT liking the preteen age, however. Oy! It's rocky and I imagine it's only going to get harder having a young teen. Step-son was living with us at the preteen age, but I think it's different since I'm not his "real mom" and his "real mom" is in his life. My 11.5 yr. old ds has been giving me a run for my money. Yup, from here until he's about 16 maybe a rocky road .

It is too hard to pick. But I will say that the adult stage is pretty awesome. Watching a "child" start his own life, begin his own family, and become a man has been pretty amazing. Really makes you proud. And the grandkids are pretty nice too!
