Re: What has your favorite age to parent been?

I loved each stage.

But, looking back, our happiest, best memories are from when it was just myself and my daughter from Kindergarten til 6th grade.

The junior high years were rough, high school was busy and hard, and no time to just enjoy life. But, grade school was wonderful.

My oldest is only 6 but I have been really enjoying him from 4 on. DD just turned 3 and I can see us getting closer. I am really not into babies at all.

I love the baby stage of 3-8ish months! That's when they start learning to do stuff. Like, smile, giggle, roll, sit, etc.
But, besides tantrums, I also really like my DD age. She's 2.5. She's really helpful with her 1 yo brother and I like that she can sit and not get into things. I love her growing imagination and the small conversations we have! She says the funniest things!

My favorite is 6-18 months I just adore this age!

I love them as itty bitty newbies as well, but I find it stressful as well.

Now for 3 year olds....I'll take any age but that! LOL!

I was just telling a friend how dd suddenly became so fun at 9 months old! Looks like I'm not the only one who thinks that. This is my first so I can't really vote for a favorite. But this is my absolute favorite so far: mama, dada, hugs and kisses, crawling and standing and laughing. It's actually fun! It probably helps that we are all getting decent sleep now too. I sure did miss sleeping.

I love to snuggle my newbies, but dh really loves them once they turn about 3 and it only gets better from there. I sure have fun with them now that they are big as well though. I just miss the tiny little guys they were.

It's bringing back a lot of memories from when my son was that age. He'll be 3 this summer, and he's so smart and funny, and the good stuff is so amazing... but wow, he can be really challenging for me sometimes! So this age is both fun and stressful. ;$
This age right here.
My oldest is 7 1/2 yrs. I love the age my oldest daughter is at right now. So happy. Walking and tumbling around. Learning her first words absorbing EVERTHING and just amazed by it all.

Can I vote any age but 3?

I've liked all others I've dealt with so far, but if I had to pick a favorite, I would say 1-3.

My kids range in age from 3 to 19. Preschool age is my favorite. Preteen is the hardest. Little kids little problems, big kids big problems.

Stephanie, mom to 3 big girls (10, 13 & 19) & 1 sweet little guy (3)
