Tide Ultra... Blue Flecks Causing Stink/Rashes/Damage?

I don't see a thread about this, but thought I should post this.

Padded Tush Stats noticed more blue flecks in their Tide Ultra than usual. The flecks according to Tide are "acti lift" ingredients. These blue flecks might be leading to issues of stink, rashes, and diaper damage:

I used Tide Ultra recently and didn't notice any blue flecks. I'm not a regular user, just used it on my travel stash while on vacation. I bought the box @ 2 months ago. I'll have to check it again.

Anyone having problems with Tide Ultra?

Someone on fb said they bought a new box and it had blue flecks. But they said they called tide and the rep told them it was just dye to be more like the liquid which is blue and it wasn't a formula change.

I've heard this too. Just dye. Is there any evidence that it's anything else?

"acti lift ingredients" just sounds like marketing B.S.

I got some Tide and noticed it has the little blue flecks in it. It seems to work the same, as far as I can tell.

Sounds like it from the description alone: "Acti-lift has 3 parts:Cleaning enzyme, helps provide deep cleaning of fibers so stains lift off more easily Cleaning polymer, designed to boost Tide?s already great cleaning surfactant to help break-up dry stains and lift them from fabrics whiteness booster, helps to give a great whiteness result, even in just one wash."

Great whiteness result = dye more than likely.

I randomly have one box with blue flecks, the rest have not had them, and I have not had any trouble with it.

I just bought a new box this weekend and noticed in the store it said Actilift on the box and it has blue flecks. Interesting they are saying there's no formula change? So help me if I need to find another detergent

I've used both and haven't noticed a difference but maybe it hasn't been long enough. I have wondered y some has the blue specks and some doesn't. I've just been avoiding the tide with downy which seems to take up most of the grocery store shelf.
