Re: October Mamas' To-do Lists
How's everyone coming along on their to-do lists? I feel like I got a lot accomplished in the last two days and came here to cross it all off and discovered it was stuff I just added and isn't even on the "important" list above. GAH! So I'm no closer to being done than I was two days ago. *sigh*
I hope you mamas are getting more done than I am!!

Re: October Mamas' To-do Lists
Hmmm.. I've been doing a ton of stuff, so I wish I would have started the list earlier so I could cross lots off!
To Do: Sell friend's diapers for her to free up some $$ (she's giving me half the profit) Finish setting up hair room (specifically, get an appliance holder for the hair station) Get new towels and supplies for hair room Gather postpartum stuff- pads, nipple cream, nursing pads, KNIT ALL THE THINGS PRAY OVER ALL THE THINGS Wash breast pump stuff Hopefully DH will get the egress windows for the basement in.. We have one room with them in that I have moved the big girls down to, but we need to get at least one more done so they don't have to be crammed down there together.. I at least got them down to the basement (it's a walkout! Not a pit of despair!) Did I mention KNIT ALL THE THINGS?! After 38 weeks: Make list for hospital Pack hospital bag Make sure I have childcare lined up for other four

DH took the kids up north to his mom's for an entire weekend early in my 2nd trimester so that I could go crazy and nest and clean to my heart's content. It was soo lovely. But like you, I'm getting too big and uncomfortable to do too much so I'm feeling the crunch now. YIKES!! I DID finish up DD's baby book last night though and that is a HUGE HUGE relief! She's going to be turning 5 in November and it's been on my list for years now. I think I put about 8 hrs in to get it all finished and the pictures and things sorted and pasted in. Next up is DS2's and then I can make up their memory boxes and get all of their stuff put in so it's all in one nice little spot and updated. But even after another 8 hrs or so to get his done, I'm only going to be crossing off ONE thing from my list. Gah!

If you need resources for what things costed back when they were born, I have some links I can post. That was the first thing I did. Then I had to go through and sort pictures and pull/print the ones I needed for the books. Luckily, I already had all of the firsts written down (when/how old/etc) as well as doctor visit stats. The other stuff I couldn't remember I was able to figure out by picture date (like her first haircut, I just looked at what the timestamp on the pictures was). Then throwing it all together wasn't as bad. It's all the prep beforehand that took a while. Hoping DS's won't take as long since his stuff is more recent and easier for me to remember. It's going to feel insanely good to only have one baby book to fill out when this little one arrives!
