I thought Id introduce myself since I've been MIA in the natural/cloth diapering community for the last 4 years.
First I have 6 awesome kiddos ages 13 to 5, 3 boys and 3 girls, a rockin awesome husband, and I love to sew!! Although I'm out of the diaper loop now I thoroughly enjoyed cloth diapering all 6 of my kids and am beside myself excited to be back in the cloth diaper world talking and making diapers. 10 years ago I had my own wahm business making and selling Beccabottoms Diapers. At that time each week Id stock About 30 diapers that sold out in 2 seconds and often the site would crash and things would oversell since there were several people buying at once. They were clearly hyena diapers with lots of rave reviews. I sold my business a year later and the lady that bought it hasn't done that much with it. I had major postpartum depression and the business was just too much.
5 years ago I made new patterns and sold diapers for a few months (Dunlap Designs). My youngest though was ill as an infant and required a lot of extra time, and couple that with severe depression and I just wasn't able to keep at it.
A year later I found out I have type 2 Bipolar Depression. It's been 3 1/2 years now and I've healed and things have improved so much since then!!
I've been on a journey to health and healing for the last 10 months through clean healthy eating and now for the last few months I've been weaning from bipolar meds to lots of supplements. I can say I feel like a different person! I'm so so grateful!!!!!
And now, I'm embarking on a new journey back into the wahm world (work at home mom) and I'm so hopeful, and thankful for all that God has done and is doing in my life! I'm truly blessed!

And this is my new Hybrid AI2 Diaper System...The Happy Hippo All-In-2 Flappers!! It's an All-in-2 meaning you only have 2 pieces/steps to the diaper. The outer Ai2 shell or cover consists of 2 full layers of waterproof PUL poly knit, an inner front Flap (keeps leaks away, snap is hidden under flap that the Soakers snap into, and it allows you to use the shell as a cover with other Soakers, inserts, folded prefolds, and even disposable inserts! Just lay the insert or prefold under the flap and go!) The Flappers also can feature outer stretchy tabs for an even greater snug fit! The inner PUL layer can be the fabric side out, or you can choose to have the shiny waterproof side facing up allowing the inner layer to be wipeable.
The Soaker set consists of a small soaker for on the small setting as well as a M/L Waterproof soaker that can be used alone or along with the small soaker on both the medium and large settings. The Soakers snap into the AI2 Shell/Cover at the front under the flap. When using both the small and M/L Soakers the small snaps on top of the large. Because there is a full layer of PUL on the bottom of the bigger soaker you are able to reuse the shell multiple times before it gets wet, even if you choose the soft knit side facing the inner.
The small soaker has 4 layers (3 layers hemp or Organic cotton fleece plus a top layer of Bamboo Velour or 4 layers hemp/OC and a top layer of stay dry ProCool Interlock or Microfleece. The M/L Soaker has 4-5 layers of fabric, 2-3 of hemp French terry or organic cotton velour plus a top layer of bamboo velour, ProCool, or Microfleece PLUS a bottom layer of waterproof PUL. These are seriously thirsty Soakers! Pair this with the double layer of PUL and the Flap and you have a leak proof system that's reliable even for the heaviest of wetters and super soaking bed wetters!!!
Will be adding a Happy Hippos Pocket Flappers too! Same great design except the inner will be bamboo velour, hemp, organic cotton, Microfleece or ProCool. The pocket opening hides under the PUL flap on the inner.

One-Size Semi-Fitted Diaper Dotty Giraffes. This Semi-fitted has serged edges and comes with 2 snap-in soakers. One Small Soaker that has 4 layers of organic cotton fleece and one M/Large Snap-in Doubler that has 2 layers. Use the small soaker alone on the small setting (fold front rise over 2 times to make small setting on diaper), And add the M/Large snap in doubler when using the Medium and Large Settings. Newborn Front Snap "Lator Gator" Fitted Diaper. Outer cotton Knit print, middle layer of organic cotton fleece, inner organic bamboo velour. Snap-in contour soaker has a top layer of bamboo velour and 3 layers of organic cotton fleece. Fits 6-14+lbs. with a 14" rise. It has 2 rows of snaps, one for the lower rise when tiny and then one that grows with baby. $12 plus actual shipping. I also have a turned and top stitched same diaper almost finished to sell as well.

FOR SALE: 2 Medium Quick Dry Soakers. These work great laid inside a cover or stuffed in a pocket. These have a 2 sections served and then the 2 sections are sewn together at one end. This allows you to fold the bottom section towards the front for more absorbency up front if needed. Top layer of pro cool interlock that keeps baby feeling dry. Moisture wicks through to other layers. 6 layers of organic cotton fleece. $7 each plus actual shipping. I do want to say, the pro cool fabric snags easily on velcro so I would only use these if you use snap diapers. Thanks!!



2 Medium Happy Hippos Trim Covers. 10-25lbs.
One front snap, one side snap. They have a 16" rise and are trim covers. These work well over trifolds, soakers, and inserts. I can make some if needed. These are trim and therefore will not fit over bulky fitted diapers. :O) I can also add snaps to the inners of the covers and to soakers so that you can make it an All in 2. (Snap in a new soaker each diaper change and reuse the cover several times unless soiled). $10 each plus actual shipping.

AI2's:
All-in-2's have an outer layer of polyester Waterproof PUL and inner choice of fabric. Snap in soaker is quick dry with 2 sections serger and then sewn together in the front only. They snap into the AI2 she'll at the front. This allows you to fold the bottom section forward if you would like more absorbency up front. They are 6 layers total plus a top layer of stay dry fabric.

Pocket Diapers:
Pockets have Poly PUL outer and your fabric choice inner. They have a pocket opening in the back to stuff and insert. Inserts are like Soakers have 2 sections serger and sewn together at each end, 6 layers total.

Hybrid Diaper Cover/System
OS PUL with Flap in front and back to stuff a trifolded prefold, lay an insert inside, or snap-in soakers, trifolds, inserts. Re-use the shell, place a clean soaker inside and go.

Regular: 2 layers of Absorbent Material that when folded is 6 layers.

Quick-Dry Organic Prefolds:
these are unique in that there is 2 full layers in the body but the middle section has an additional 3 layer doubler sewn down the sides. The ends are open to allow for thorough washing and quick drying. This give 2X5X2 total.

Wet Zone Prefolds:
these are great as they have 2 full layers through the body but also have an extra layer of fabric across the front/mid panel for extra protection in the wet zone. This layer is serged and only stitched on the fold lines so that it doesn't add extra dry time or bulk. This gives 2X5X2 layers through the wet zone. An added benefit of this design is that you can stuff a doubler in the "pocket" of the wet zone section. Doublers sold seperately.
