Re: Alaska Mamas
No, I can't start a thread because I don't have enough posts. I have a large lot of Mother-ease OS dipes plus inserts, and 5-7 wraps each in Sm, M, L and XL. Then there's a bunch of prefolds and miscellaneous fitted dipes and wraps. And lap protectors and liners and a bunch of clothes, sized NB - 3yrs. Oh, and four more carriers... a ring sling and a pocket sling and an Infantino sling, plus a woven wrap.

Re: Alaska Mamas
I'm in Anchorage. I been here 7 years and am originally from NJ but lived in San Diego for 2 years before coming here. It is funny I think Anchorage does have a lot of cloth diapering parents. I run into people all the time but maybe I just tend to go to things that attract that type. It is definitely more crunchy than NJ where I am from. I see NIP all the time here but it isn't common there.

Wow really? I do see some NIP here too. I have to admit at first I didn't like to because it was my first time. Now that I'm comfortable, my son makes it near impossible to. He gets distracted easily with noise and so he unlatches and latches many times and then doesn't nurse. So I have to do it in a quiet place. I NEVER see anyone who CD. They look at me like I'm crazy when they see I do

Aww don't feel awkward! You're doing a great thing for your baby by using cloth! Plus, it raises awareness about cloth! Even though I get stares I love showing off my sons fluff!
