Re: April 2013 DUE DATE LIST
EDD: 4-21
Your Name: Rainey Daye Age: 36 State or Country: Texas How long it took to you to get your BFP: Well, we weren't trying, this baby was a surprise!! What number child is this for you: Second child earth side, three angel babies Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): My computer geek husband and my boundless energy 3.5 year old son. No furbabies anymore. Baby's Gender (hopes or guesses): This one is a girl!! Kiddo insisted from the beginning that he was getting a sister, so was rather unimpressed when we told him it was in fact a girl...cause that is what he'd been saying all along!! Birth Plans/Preferences: Baby girl will be born at a very baby friendly hospital and be delivered by midwives as naturally as I can handle. Kiddo was supposed to be a natural birth, but now that I have done the whole epidural thing I might just be begging for one again!! My hope is that I can handle it so far that by the time I am begging for meds it will be too late for me to get them!! :P Anything else you'd like to share: After an emergency transport from a homebirth and then an eclamptic seizure that had me back in the hospital when kiddo was six days old, then three miscarriages in a row, then complications from the last miscarriage that had me back in the hospital (hemorrhaging, crashing, blood transfusions, and an emergency D&C)...we were DONE having bio kids and were actually looking into foster adoption when we got this little surprise!! You know how anything preventative that isn't permanent can have a small failure rate? Yep. But we are super stoked about our happily accidental surprise miracle rainbow baby!! |

Re: April 2013 DUE DATE LIST
EDD: 4-24-13
Your Name: Ashley Age: 26 State or Country: South Carolina How long it took to you to get your BFP: 2nd month, I think What number child is this for you: 3 Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): Ross, DH since 2005; Sterling(DS1, 2008); Evie(DD1, 2010); two laying hens, Bernice and Harriett Baby's Gender (hopes or guesses): It's a boy! Abel! Birth Plans/Preferences: As natural as possible at a hospital. Planning on no epidural this time around since with DD1 it didn't work and I only got it 30 minutes before she was born anyway. Since I know what it feels like, I am ready to do it like I was meant to....a great experience that will be life-altering! I really wanted a home birth, but I have FAST deliveries and the nearest midwife was 1.5 hrs. away....not worth the risk of her not arriving. I only made it to the hospital an hour before DD was born. I can only hope this labor and delivery goes as well as hers! Anything else you'd like to share: Excited to be joining the group! I am late, but would like the companies of other April mommies!
