Needing advice from CD store owners/operators
I am researching and hoping to open my own CD/natural parenting store. There is not a single one in my town, the closest is about 2 hours away. I'm looking for any and all suggestions/advice on how to go about this. I plan to meet with a Small Business Center in town that helps local's open small businesses, but I'd love some feedback from mama's that have done it themselves. I'm currently at square one, just spoke with my husband earlier this week about doing it and he is on board so we are just now getting the ball started. Thanks for your help!!

Wichita Falls....the closest CD shop is in Dallas or OKC so I have a 2 hour radius of no competition

Re: Needing advice from CD store owners/operators
That's awesome. I wish I could do that. Been thinking that I would love to open a CD store too, but it's not in the cards for us right now. Good Luck!

Re: Needing advice from CD store owners/operators
The closest to you is probably my store or Baby Rear Gear. Mine is in FW and Rear Gear is in Roanoke. It's not all it's cracked up to be, margins are low and competition with china cheapies is fierce, though I would look into your local Cloth Diaper group to make sure you really are the only shop.
