I wore my sleepy wrap comfortably (tied above incision) about a week after surgery.

Re: can you wear your baby after a c section?
didn't take long before I tried, but I can't remember how long. Went through about 3 ring slings that never worked before we got the moby and had her in there fairly quickly.

Re: can you wear your baby after a c section?
I was just thinking. I have always used a ring sling. When carrying my nb in a sling I like to keep them up high. There would be no risk of baby putting pressure on the incision site. I do remember it left my hands free to keep me steady and help me get up.

Re: can you wear your baby after a c section?
I did the moby wrap pretty much right away and then started using the ergo around 3 weeks.

I used a moby at 10 days postpartum. I probably could have used it around 7 days. Wishing you a smooth, quick recovery, mama!

Re: can you wear your baby after a c section?
I wore a sling with my newbie 2 days after my c-section. It was snug enough that the baby was high, almost on my chest.

Re: can you wear your baby after a c section?
I wore my baby at 6 weeks in a woven wrap and felt very good.

I wore my baby 4 weeks postpartum with a wrap and had no problem, though I think it would have been fine a week postpartum.
