I have one of these that I got as a gift. My inlaws got it for me and I use it quite often along with all the other cast iron we have purchased over the years. It is a great pan.

I just wanted to say that your post made me think. I would never consider that chicken fryer to be "expensive" and your post made me realize that expensive is really in the eye of the beholder and to be thankful for what I do have. Thank you for the reality check.

I'd been wanting a vitamix forever & this past month got a ninja (gift from dad) that I'm more then happy with!
Really right now a new nonstick pan would be awesome!
I also want the super thin cutting boards that you can label for use...
Eventually a bread maker do I can make allergy friendly bread for ds2. & I think our almost 5 yr old rice cooker may be on its way out. We'll be moving in a tr & I'd love to replace a lot of things! Lol

All are reasonably priced: Ice cream attachment for my kitchen aid, new pot holders, new dish towels. Maybe a new dish set, but only if I find something I really like.

Expensive: Kitchen aid mixer. (I'm torn about this. I've been using my mom's and she will likely NEVER ask for it back. But I also feel like I want one of my very own).

Cheap: Dutch oven

But I also want fancy pots and pans, a new knife set, an aerogarden, food saver, etc., etc., etc.
