To Do Before Baby Arrives

I did this in my last DDC and it seemed to help some of us get to thinking about all we wanted to accomplish before baby arrived. It helps me have a single list that I can update and revise. Also, seeing other people's lists helps me get great ideas or reminds me about timing.

If you want, just reply to hold a spot and then edit that same comment every time your list changes.

Here are the categories I use but, of course, you can choose one big long list if that helps you the most.

General To Do
Move DS to the second, bigger, bedroom. Will need to be painted in a kid friendly theme (yeah we like themes lol) and totally decorated with furniture, shelving, etc. right now its our spare room. If we find out new baby is a girl, we are redoing the baby room. I think we will keep the safari animal theme if it is a boy.

To Buy
All new furniture for DS (bed, dresser, toy/book storage for his new room), baby will be using his. Will need lots of new clothes, DS was an august baby. We want to get a king bed in the next few months too! We need a double stroller, maybe a city mini?

To Make
Hmm i don't know? I would like to make lots of freezer meals, I've read about them here but don't know how yet. I am still a cooking novice!

Ha, I did not even pack for DS till the day off!

DS has been moved to a toddler bed, and loves it. So that has freed up our crib. We don't plan to move him into his new bedroom until after the holidays though. I doubt we'll buy a city mini, I don't want a side by side and I don't like how they stack their front and back seating positions, and the price is insane considering DS will be nearly 3 before we're using it much. Also, I would have to buy an adaptor (more $$) for our graco bucket seat to be able to be used, or wait to use it till baby was much older. So we are looking at the graco room 2 ride and it seems to get good reviews from most people.
