Anyone have a successful pregnancy while on Mirena?

I'd love to hear a story right now of getting pregnant with the Mirena and having a healthy, successful pregnancy. DN just found out she's pregnant and still has the Mirena in. She went yesterday for an ultrasound and there are 4 babies! One sharing a sac and the other two separate. She's 10 weeks. Of course she's freaking out. She didnt see the dr after the US and apparently he's waiting for the paperwork from the US still. She talked to him on the phone though and said the chances of MC after taking the iud out is 50%.
The waiting game sucks.

Holy cow! Preggo with 4 naturally!!!
I know a women who has an almost 3 year old Mirena baby. She is very healthy and was born normally. She was quite a ways along when she found out as well.

wow!!! My mom had the mirena when she got pregnant with my sister. They had to remove it or it would have grown into her head but otherwise everything went fine. She's 12 now

When I worked in L&D a baby was born holding a Mirena in her hand!

My mom always tells us that one of us 3 kids was an "IUD oops". She won't give anymore details though about if it was taken out or if it stayed in. She also won't tell us which one of us kids wasn't planned! Grr! lol!

I don't have personal experience with pregnancy while on mirena but I had the mirena and took it out myself. It's very soft and flexible(as shown in ads). What are the risks of it staying in?
