Hey I was wondering if you all could give me some basic info about Orange county? My DH has a job offer there, but it would be moving across the country. Like, what is basic cost of living expenses (rent, electricity, etc.)? Obviously it's going to be a lot more than here, but it would be nice to have a rough estimate.TIA!

I'm in Irvine. Have a 19 year old daughter and am due end of Jan/early Feb with a baby boy

It's pricy in Irvine. Houses are at least $350K plus and rents are about $1,800+ for a two bedroom. But, There are many other lower priced areas that are still nice, Anaheim, parts of Santa Ana, Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, etc... Plus, you can't beat the weather

Anaheim is where my husaband's work would be if he takes the job so that's good to know that it's a little lower but still a nice place to live. How are the schools in Orange county?
