I am in love with my rice cooker.

I just got my rice cooker and I LOVE it. It is one with fuzzy logic. So far I have made our oatmeal in it each morning(3 times) and last night I made the most perfect brown jasmine rice that has ever existed. I got the Ultimate Rice Cooker cookbook and the things you can make in this thing are endless. What do you all make in your cooker?

This is the one I have: Zojirushi NS-ZCC18 10-Cup (Uncooked) Neuro Fuzzy Rice Cooker and Warmer, Premium White.


I got it from Amazon. I wanted the 10 cup one, which are not 8 ounce cups but rather 6 ounce.

Also look at the cookbook I listed above, it it fabulous.

Maybe I am stupid but I never thought I could really cook anything else in my rice cooker, lol. *facepalm* I also LOVE my rice cooker. Oatmeal!? Tell me more!

I also love my rice cooker. But I've only made rice, steamed veggies, and prepackaged rice mixes. I must try that cookbook out! Thanks for the tip

Your welcome and it is an inexpensive book, but filled to the brim with info. It tells everything about all types of rice, how they cook and so forth. I am going to make vegetable paella next week. There are just so many things it really shocked me. You can make jam and dried beans and tons more. I was going to be really happy just with the brown rice and oatmeal.
