Share your pork recipes
We just butchered a pig, so I've got tons of pork here. Looking for fun recipes that are tasty & gluten free.
I'd also love to know about making pork rinds - I've got some fat set out to do it with, but never have before. Tips would be great! |

Re: Share your pork recipes
We grill a lot of the pork we get, but you can also throw it in the crockpot with BBQ sauce and do pulled pork, super easy! Also, LOVE this seasoning mix

Re: Share your pork recipes
Apricot pork is a favorite here (you can also use peach). Mix apricot preserves and dried mustard until you get a flavor you like (you can also add liquid smoke if you like the flavor) Rub all over the chops or loin, wrap in tinfoil and grill. The sauce is awesome for dipping!
I've never done this in the oven...but I'm sure it's easy! Another favorite here is putting boneless chops (the bones get soft and tend to fall apart ) in the crock pot with white sauce and mushrooms (or cream of mushroom if you use canned stuff) and cooking on low all day. Serve over mashed potatoes.

Re: Share your pork recipes
These are all great ideas!! TY!
I love the idea of pulled pork - it's such a yummy thing for sammies too. And the chili idea - wouldn't have thought of that. But what I'll try today? The apricot! I JUST made a batch of apricot sauce & I think that will work wonderfully! And I've got a couple crockpots here lol It's an addiction!! DH came home with a new one for me the other day & I think he thought I was nuts b/c I was so excited!! My boys just told me they know what to get me for xmas that I'll like - another crockpot! LOL |

Re: Share your pork recipes
I cover pork chops in regular or dijon mustard then coat in whole wheat flour then fry! Or put in crock pot with either cream of mushroom or cream of chicken then serve over rice
