I am so moved by your story. She is such a beautiful little girl, absolutely beautiful. I am so glad you had such a wonderful couple of hours with her. I can say this though she wasn't able to go home with you like you really wanted god gave you and your family those moments to meet her and for her to see you both. He dedicated those hours for that love and bonding. She left this world knowing her parents and their smell, their voice. You heard her voice and felt her close to you. I am so very sorry for your loss but pictures will last forever but those couple of hours are an eternal memory that you can hold.

What an inspiring story of love!

It makes me so sad that there isn't more support for mom's in your situation. Our modern culture so quick to dismiss the lives of babies that are sick...and I truly believe that more mama's would carry their dying babies to term if they felt support from the medical community.

Unfortunately, I think the most beautiful and healing (however incredibly difficult) option give the circumstances is to carry the baby and value their life for as long as God allows them to stay here on this earth.

Thank you so much for sharing your story and for sharing your beautiful girl with us....she is a treasure waiting for you in heaven.
