Anyone else in India?

Husband & I are expats in North India, the land of (now) far too many disposables. We're looking at CDing and especially on a budget (so using gently-used, like from here!) with our 1st.

Thankfully, we have a washer & dryer for monsoon, but also a fair amount of good sunlight to line-dry when there isn't monsoon. I'm just petrified of the two major problems we will have with line drying things outside:

rhesus macaques and grey langurs! Saris get torn, clothes get stolen - I don't want nice cloth diapers to disappear because of those furry little buggers.
