Need a stroller rec...
We have a Graco Duoglider double stroller (I HATE IT!).
Anyway, we drive a caravan and the double stroller literally takes up the entire cargo area. So I want something smaller, like a nice lightweight/umbrella single or double stroller. Here are the features I want: Light Small fold Easy to fold Easy to steer ability to attach my Graco Snugride 35 50+ lb weight limit Sturdy (hubby is really picky about this one) Under or as close to $300 as possible My sons are 2 and 4, and both would ride in it on occasion. So needs to fit them as well as a newbie. This would mainly be for a trip to the grocery store, or quick trip to the mall. We will probably pull out the Duoglider for things like the zoo, etc Particularly when dh is around to steer the dumb thing. Oh, and I am short (5'3") and dh is 6'...

Re: Need a stroller rec...
What about a Joovy Big Caboose? It is thin when it folds up, but it is also pretty long.

Re: Need a stroller rec...
Used to have a Duoglider and couldn't stand how huge it was either! We just got the Graco Room for 2 Stand and Ride stroller a couple months ago, and I love it. It's fairly new--Graco's verson of a sit and stand. It folds up to about the same size as our old single stroller. We have a chrysler town and country (same thing as the caravan), and I can stand it up vertically in the back of the cargo area to make room for other stuff. The only drawback is that when my snugride is attached, there's not a ton of room for my 2 year old to sit on the little jumpseat, but it works and she doesn't seem bothered. I just notice that she has to lean forward somewhat.
The cheapest deal is at Walmart $123.99 and shipped to the store for free. |

I should add that five year old rides in it sometimes too and it works fine. The weight limit for each seat is 50 lbs., though.

Re: Need a stroller rec...
Honestly, I think all the ones that hold the carseats are pretty clunky. We have had three combi side by sides and I LOVE them. They fold into a small little rectange and I used to throw the thing in front of the second row in my town and country and it didn't eat ANY trunk room. Plus the seats recline.
