New to the group
Hi! I'm Amber. I'm expecting my second son on or about December 20, 2012. I am excited to be having another boy!
We used cloth diapers exclusively with our first son until he began potty training a few months ago. He is in pull ups now and is still fighting pooping in the potty He just turned 3 in September, so I'm not too worried. It is nice to see such a large group of like minded mamas!

Re: New to the group
Welcome! I'm semi new myself. Didn't have the time to give myself a tutorial after I joined. I had a baby boy last December. My 2 year old CD'd boy hated/hates pull-ups. He did great w/ training underwear by day and a cloth diaper for naps and night.

Re: New to the group
Thanks for the warm welcome ladies.
mamaloveswool - I think we may have to try something different for the rest of potty training. My son does not mind the pull ups at all. He is doing great with peeing in the potty but REFUSES to poop in the potty. He holds it all day at daycare because they watch him closely. Then as soon as he's home and his father and I are distracted he poops in his pull ups! Then he tries to act like he didn't. He does really want to wear his big boy underwear, but I've been reluctant to let him in case he continues to poop in them. I'm not sure why that seems so much worse to me to clean poop from underwear than it did to cloth diaper but for some reason it does. Hrm... typing this out is making me reconsider... Have you guys encountered that at all? Any thoughts? |

Re: New to the group
Welcome! Poo is a hard one for some kiddos to go on the potty. My oldest DD didn't like to, it took her a good month until she would do it after she was completely pee potty trained, even at night!
