My dd cannot wear anything other than leggings and tunics/dresses. Pants do not stay up on her very skinny frame.

Re: little girl's jeans?
DD only has a couple pairs of jeans because she really dislikes them. She finds them stiff, too snug, and not comfortable. Mostly, she wears yoga pants with dresses. Or softer knit or cord pants. And, for jeans TCP and ON do not work at all for her. Too tight and low cut.
Thanks for the ideas here. Gymboree doesn't seem to have just plain pants. They all have stuff on them, which annoys me. I might try Hanna and see if those work. I'd like her to have a couple pairs just because sometimes that's what we need to wear. |

I couldn't believe I accidentally got some skinny jeans in 24 months!!!
We are more modest than most, but I'm glad DD2 had taken to athletic pants instead of jeans. It helps that she goes to fencing 4 days a week and it is just more convenient, too. She's 12 and capable of recognizing she could be seen by teen boys as cute, or even sexy. Ick. So, athletic pants to the rescue! LOL Sent from my phone using DS Forum... Typos complements of Swype

Re: little girl's jeans?
My 7yr old dd has a very slim rear end, and even she has problems with jeans coming down in the back. I can't imagine what regular and larger little girls go through with this! I agree with the dresses and leggings or boys jeans, especially for younger girls. Most younger girls don't care as much about clothing styles as older girls do. It might be embarrassing to an older girl if she's wearing boys jeans.
