Re: Crafty Mama's....care to share what you've made

So far I have made. Fleece covers and longies. Tons of wool longies and soakers. Teethers with untreated maple rings and wool, felted wool balls with bells inside, and a recycled wool carrot. Lots of flannel wipes. Baby booties. Tie dyed onesies and flats. And....I think that's it for now. I've kind of been side tracked lately with Christmas presents. Here are a few pictures that are on my computer.

Re: Crafty Mama's....care to share what you've made

Well since our puppy ATE my sewing cord that attaches to my foot pedal I cannot sew anything I have a business where I hand embroider advocacy shirts so I will make a ton for this little girl! I have to make a few for my friend's shower this Sat. so I will just buy extra and start making some for our baby.

Re: Crafty Mama's....care to share what you've made

hummm...i made these:

(not the FCOL shirt, obviously) because i thought they were all gender neutral, i think really i was trying to prepare myself for boy #4. Now that it's a girl, i'm selling them and i'll be making her some PINK woolies, but i have to finish a project for my DS first, sigh. i do have one pair of Winter Pear longies that i am keeping and i'll pair with a headband, but i don't have a pic and i'm not home...

Oooooh those are beautiful! The white ones are so unique, and the colorways are to die for. I LOVE knitted longies, but try as I might, I just don't love wool.

Anya, I would have cried all night. Do you have a sewing machine dealer/repair shop locally? They might help you out, too.

I crocheted these last night in one sitting. It's a slightly altered version of a crochet pattern that I designed. The hat looks like cat ears when its worn I have an acorn squash modelling it. The colors are much nicer IRL- a minty green and pinky salmon.
