does anyone have any experience in using these after birth to tone those muscles back? I am thinking of getting one.

I read about it and basically the point is more to get you to understand what you have to contract to achieve the desired..ahem...effect. haha They use those balls so you can feel what muscles are responsible for what. If you know your body and what each set of muscles does, you can exercise them without utilizing any...uhh...equipment. And it's also was easier to just contract-hold-release while you're driving or waiting for food at a restaurant, etc while no one knows than having to actually get that stuff out in the privacy of your home and use it. Sounds like a pain. lol Good luck!

I have tried them because I had a hard time telling if I was doing the exercise right or not. I didn't like them. I agree get to know your body and you can do kegels anytime anywhere without hassling with those. They really don't make the exercise anymore effective.
