We have trush and baby wont stay latched
My lo & I have been dealing with trush for weeks and now she's refusing to stay latchedd. I'm worried that she's not getting enough. Shes still wetting and pooing but not as much as usual. She's only 10 weeks old and I'm just worried. The doctor ordered another course of dyflucan butthe pharmacy couldnt fillrit untill tomorrow. What can I do to make her more comfortable so she'll eat?

Re: We have trush and baby wont stay latched
I would keep trying to latch her and allow her to eat whenever she will. If she is having poopy and wet diapers then she is hydrated. Her mouth probably hurts. I am so sorry you are dealing with this. Hopefully another mom with more experience will come on here and offer some more advice.

Thrush is almost gone and breast feeding is a whole new experience...it's so easy and almost pain free. It just hurts a little On the left side but I also had a bled. I finally kicked the yeast's Butt by ironing my bras, splurging on apno cream and begging the Ped for fluconazole for the baby. Looking forward to being totally pain free.
