I just ordered a bunch of alva dipes. I really hope they work as good as their reviews say they do. Would have loved fuzzibunz again but even used people around here still want $12 each (and that is cheap). DH probably would've let me get them but we are down to one income so I just can't/won't spend the money. I have a few BGs and kissaluvs in nb. Debating if I wanna buy some workhorse newborns too.

I think 4-6 is PLENTY! I think I only have 3 xs right now, 2 smalls (that will work in a pinch-especially when the cord falls off), and another random xs and Im not worried at all :-)

Did I mention this thread is making me want to buy diapers I SO dont need! UGH! there is a killer deal on cl for xs bgs right now....(saying to myself) "I dont need them, I dont need them, I dont need them."

THis is what I have so far: trying to replace my 3 year old BG 3.0s for the newbie, and try not to purchase anything for the first year! I used up our cash back rewards and my bonus to get some things that would have been pricey splurges otherwise.

After #3 was out of diapers, and we figured we were done, I gave a whole lotta diapers away....I kept prefolds and flats and a couple of wool pieces, so I had/have a few things to buy for this surprise #4. I have bigger babies, so I've tried to buy things that I think will fit longer. I'm not a synthetic fan, especially as kiddo #2 had a polyester sensitivity and we had to switch to all-natural fibers after buying a fleece/suedecloth stash.

Anyhow, I took the plunge and finally ordered a few things yesterday. It has been years since fluffy mail came to my house! So excited!

So far I have...

2 dozen GMD orange PF
1 dozen GMD yellow PF
2 dozen infant PF
1 dozen flats
7 NB covers (2 thirsties duo sz 1, 2 thirsties xs, 3 mini coveralls)
2 Thirsties S covers
1 Flip day pack, so 2 covers, 6 inserts (not sure about these, have never used them)
1 wool soaker
9 NB simplex

I'd still like a few fitteds and another wool soaker or 2 for nights, but may wait until we're out of NB sizes for those.
