Best books to get started
I'm ready to start potty training my 19 month old. I think I'd like to try the 3 day method, but with winter coming on in cold CO, I'm not too sure about letting her go around with no pants for 3 months afterward. This is my first time PTing so I'm having a really hard time knowing where to start. Are there any good books out there, or websites that have all the info I need? The other issue at hand is that I can't watch her like hawk all the time since I also have a 5 month old. I am so ready to only have to worry about diapering one baby again!
We already have a potty chair, but don't have an training pants yet. How many do you usually need? |

I just started reading the book "Oh Crap Potty Training" which you pay to download. (Just Google it.) if you can overlook a few curse words (surprised me), it seems to be a book I wish I would've read when my daughter was your LO's age!! She also offers an online help forum included in the price of the book. If you go with her method, you won't need trainers. I'm hoping to use her method with my 3yr old.
With #2 I plan on using her method and taking months of unnecessary pain out of the process.
