Cookbook catagories

I'm creating a scrapbook cookbook for a friend, and I'm trying to figure out which categories to make pages for. I don't want a million, so I was thinking something like
Appetizers
Soups &salads
Beef
Poultry
Desserts
Baked goods

Am I missing anything important? They love to cook, so I want it easily organizible, but not too in depth.. Any suggestions?

I think it depends on what they like to cook. Do they enjoy cooking or is it baking? Do they have allergies? Do they eat a diet high in meats or more veges and grains?

For example for us I would do very little beef as we don't eat it much(prices are high). My husband is allergic to pork so that is out. We also don't eat many salads and when we do it is primarily just a lettuce salad so no recipe needed.

So for us I would want

appetizers
poultry
soups
desserts
baked goods
breads
veges
grains

and maybe a breakfast section

I personally would do the following:
apps
Mains
Sides
Pasta
Dessert
Breakfast (if you want)

I don't like how cookbooks separate by type of meat, it bothers me, I want a method and then what meat you put in there is the details to me (should mention I view recipes as guidelines).
If you want to separate mains I would do quick and easy and a little something special or something along those lines

I would do main dishes and sides also.

Maybe add a misc. section for diy things (if you are including them) like salad dressing mix, taco seasoning mix, etc. I've seen that section often called 'potpourri' in cookbooks before. Maybe a pasta section?? That sounds like an awesome gift!!

Maybe add a section like fast meals to cook!
