Grazing All Day

I feel like Finn grazes on the boob all day. I always have a boob out. If I put it away he fusses. I seem to be making enough milk. If I squeeze a nipple at any time I spray.

He just got his bottom 2 teeth and I see bulging on the top. No rashes, gas, or reflux that I can see. He is happy and peeing and pooping right. I am just not sure why he is wanting to be on the boob all day and night now. He is 8 months old.

ANy one else have this issue or know why?

If he is teething, he is likely using you as a paci, for comfort.

I have always used a paci with my kids as they were in daycare. But, if you are home all day and ok having the boob out, maybe you can wear him so you can have your hands free!

He could be for sure. I tried so hard to get him to take a paci and he won't. He will chew on it, but not suck on it.

My DD is 11 months and I still have a boob hanging out all day! She started solids a couple months ago so it is not like every hour, but it is still every couple hours. It was the same with my son...and then he just stopped and only nursed every 4 or 5 hours and slept all night. I feel like it is just attachment phases and once they realize you are there even if the boob is not, it will taper off again!
