How many pairs of boots do you own?

I have one pair of dressier boot (just over the calf, no heel) and one pair of insulated rain boots that work as my winter boots too if I add a liner. But, we are strict about how much stuff we all have....everyone in the house has a 6 shoe limit: one set enclosed shoes, one set sandals, one set slippers, one set gym shoes and 2 sets of boots. It used to be less that this (one enclosed, one boot, one slippers).

I have 2 pairs of boots and that is all I ever own at a time. This year it's a black wedge pair that ends between my calf and knee and the other is a black flat pair that goes mid-calf. Both are suede. Last year I had the wedge pair and a brown cowgirl style boot with a heel but they tore up. I only wear boots with leggings and skinny jeans though and that's only in winter.

Three. I wear boots every single day, though. I have one pair of black calf-high boots with heels that zip up for church, a pair of brown Ariat ProBaby boots, and a pair of black Ariat FatBaby boots. Those last two are my everyday shoes.

I have one pair. I bought them when I was 18 and I still love them! Lol I want a new pair just like them but in black but they're like $100 so I probably won't buy them.

That is my issue w/boots -- they are SO much more expensive than shoes if you want leather! My first pair I've had for at least 8 years though, so it's not like I'm dropping that kind of cash frequently I really like those Mephistos, and I've been browsing around for something else that I might like as much.

Four years ago, when I was pregnant with DS2, I found a beautiful pair at Nordstroms during their after-Christmas shoes sale. they had the scrunched leather sides, a comfy and cute heel, and was a nice caramel color...but MY size was ever-so-slightly snug and the next size was too big. I put them back because my feet were swollen from being preg and I thought it was not a good time to shop for something expensive like boots since my feet would probably be different post-baby. Anyway, I still think about that pair
