Post-sickness: is this normal?

My son had a stomach bug on Monday, wasn't vomiting anymore by Tuesday. He's STILL acting like his stomach hurts though.

I had the same bug and I was feeling 100% 2 days later, but obviously that's quite different.

Just wondering if experienced parents have had.this before, I don't feel like calling the stupid doctor so she can make us come in, wait for an hour, and then tell us its colic.

With 4 of us in the house who had the stomach bug lately I've learned it effects everyone differently. I had it for 2 weeks, no vomiting (but once), and severe stomach pains and nausea and loss of appitite for both weeks. YDS had it for 3 1/2 weeks and he had ALL the symptoms everytime, ODS had it for 2 days, better for 4 days and then got it again 2 days later for another 24hrs. My husband is on his second go around today after being sick Tuesday and fine Wed/Thursday.

I work in a daycare and ALL the kids have had it for days at a time on and off. I would say he probably still has it. I no the stomach cramps I had were pretty painful. Hope he gets better soon!

How old is he?
Is he eating and drinking?
Having wet diapers?

If yes I wouldn't worry. My gut takes forever to feel normal after a bug.
