My kids opened their presents

Hee. This morning I was in my bedroom but the kids didn't see me, and they snuck past me into my closet. So I got to hear their little whispered conversation about where Mom might be hiding the presents. Honestly, they fight so much that I was just tickled that they were conspiring together.

I do that too, and it saved Christmas last year! DD's main present was a big dollhouse that showed up (at work, thankfully) with a big picture right on the side of the box.

DH is horrible about not waiting. Just recently he gave me a birthday present over a month early. Every year at Christmas, I have him and the kids asking if we can please start opening presents by the 23rd. Today, he hung up the stockings. I had already snuck a few things in the kids' stockings, so when he noticed the lumps he thought there were presents we missed from last year so he started pulling them out.
