Tell me what you know about toddler beds

DS transitioned from his crib to a ful size bed. We had the bed set up in hsi room when we moved and he decided when he wanted to sleep in it versus his crib. The transition went smoothly for him.

I do agree with others that if he is having space issues I would skip the toddler bed since it is the same size as a crib.

We just transitioned our YDD when she was 18 mo old to a twin mattress. It went fine. It just takes consistency and a lot of patience, but honestly, if you stick with it and keep it up, then after like 3 days the transition is over and it's not a big deal at all.

I can't help but wonder how big this kid is

I was looking at DD in her toddler bed/crib convert last night and she's been 36inches since 19 months and she still fits in the toddler bed really well.
