Potluck Cocktail Hiliday Party ideas
I have my MOMS club Moms Night Out Chritmas party tomorrow night and I am feeling uninspired. Other ladies are already bringing cheese ball, hummus, chocolate cookies, "something sweet", champagne punch, nonalcoholic punch, wine... Any inspiration is appreciated
. It is tomorrow, so nothing too complicated.

If you want to cook, puff pastry pinwheels are always a hit. Thaw puff pastry, spread with a spinach and cheese mix, roll, slice and bake. If you don't want to cook, bring a platter if crackers, cheese and salami. That always goes well.

Something fun are olive penguins. You can google a pic but really it's simple. Buy canned black olives, large (body) & medium (head), block cheddar, making slices 1/4" thick, cream cheese, and toothpicks
Cut cheese slices Ito circles, cut a "pizza" slice out of circle, this makes pinguins two feet and beak. Slice large olive longways and stuff w cream cheese, this will create the white stomach of the bird Stuff "pizza slice" of cheese in the pit hole of med olive, this makes his head and beak Then use a toothpick to attach head on top of the body, through to the cheese feet These guys are a huge hit at parties. They are easy, inexpensive, and creative
