Good Double Stroller??

Hello!!

I was wondering if anyone has any good recommendations of a double stroller that will fit into a car when folded. Oh and also, affordable is preferred!! I plan on baby wearing also but would like to have this on hand too!

THANKS!

Well, it's not a true double stroller, but I like the Sit n Stand stroller.

How big is your car & how old are the kids? Any demands about cost, terrain, etc?

Re: Good Double Stroller??

I got a Graco and love it in theory, loathe it in every other way. It is just such a pain in the rear to steer. I will be asking for a more compact double jogging stroller for my birthday (I have a used workhorse that gets the job done, but it is huge and strictly for the trails by my house). I figure a fixed wheel will be easier to steer since you can actually lift and maneuver. You aren't supposed to have to in doubles, but the steering is so difficult it is pitiful. Hurts my wrist. Definitely going for fixed wheel next time.

I have a baby trend double jogger from amazon and looooove it! It folds down pretty compact for a double jogger - fits into my versa hatchback. It's great if you stroll in your neighborhood a lot even if you don't jog. It holds up well and is really smooth.

Re: Good Double Stroller??

I'm going to get either a mountain buggy duet. Or a bjcmd gt. I want to use it for zoos parks ect. I don't love strollers because I baby wear. But always wish I had a better one at one of said events.
I'll probably go with the mountain buggy because it's narrow. We already take up the whole Isle wherever we go, lol, so hate to add a wide double into the mix.
I have a sit and stand. It's just ok. It didn't work that great at the tree nursery last fall, so I should have spent the $ on a great double instead.

I love , love, love my maclaren twin techno. I got it used on craigslist but it is in great condition and works wonderfully! I had the problem where nothing would fit behind my 3rd row seat in my envoy.

Re: Good Double Stroller??

I did grab a Joovy x2 a couple weeks ago when they did 30% off & free shipping on their site. I think it cost me $160ish. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but it would have to be really terrible to not be worth that price...follow them on fb or twitter or sign up for emails to get their discount codes. You can also use Bed, Bath, & Beyond coupons on them

Please update on how you like the joovy x2. I love the huge basket, and all the pockets. Would love to hear how it does at a park or zoo...
