Religious Symbols on Diapers...right or wrong?

What symbols are on the diaper? Chanukah symbols are usually dreidels, menorot, etc. I don't think I'd like to see Torah scripture on anyone's bottom, but I would think dreidels were adorable.

It has little gold menorahs and star of david...I wouldn't buy something with scripture on it either.

Although we don't use religious symbols and I wouldn't say anything I don't think it would be appropriate. It just seems disrespectful somehow.

It's kind of like American flag designs...... but you see those diapers around too. So I think it is a personal comfort level.

It has more to do with your intent I wouldn't worry about it offending other people. If they act offended ask why they're staring at your baby's butt lol!

^^ this I was thinking of getting a special diaper for our ds baptism in a few weeks and DH said in crazy and that as long as the diapers white it will be fine. It never occurred to me that anyone would be offended by that though!

My DH was like you bought what? So she can wear it for 8 days? For the price of this diaper we are gonna be celebrating all year..lol.

I wouldn't have my baby wear it to the religious ceremony, but wouldn't hesitate to buy it for myself - for home, friends, and other outings.

I think it is important to respect the people at your church (synagogue? sorry I don't know the term) knowing full well there will be people there who are very serious about being proper or orthodox. Of course, as humans living in America, we have the RIGHT to do whatever we want, but that doesn't mean we should. In this case, at the church, I would err on the side of respectful.....

OP if YOU like it then do it. I would if I wanted a religious diaper. People get all weird about everything anyway.
