I'm glad I'm not the only one confused. Lol. Our baby isn't due till March but all along I figured you just sprayed poop as it happens. Once I put it in the wet bag I don't want to have to deal with it again!!!

No, we sprayed right away. We don't have our sprayer anymore but we dunk them right away. I think we all mean that diapers that were once poopy and probably still have a teensy bit of residue on them are sitting in the pail this long.

Yes, they are in the pail, I just don't want to be touching them after a certain point! Lol

I wouldn't either! Poop doesn't bother me but I shudder to think of the mess I'd find if I waited to spray/dunk them!

Agreed. I've noticed if I let them sit without rinsing for even a day, I have to spend twice as long rinsing than if I just do it right away. I've started changing diapers in the bathroom so I do it right away and don't let a pile get started.

I have let them sit when things have gotten busy and I couldn't go upstairs to spray. Most of the time I don't though. They do retain odor.

We spray (with a sprayer mounted to the toilet) as soon as possible, always before going into the pail.

I was understanding op was waiting to spray or dunk poopy diapers until several built up. Am I wrong?

We clean poopy diapers right away but do not do anything with EBF or peanutbutter poops. Those come out easily in the wash.

As soon as poop started getting gross, we dunk them in the toilet to clean. I usually go 3-4 days between washes.
