Question Christmas Ideas

Every year I give BM and BF a little something from the kids

1st year I made a dvd pic with music (it turned out very cool)
2nd had kids paint a pic frame and put pics of them with BM/BF in them (BM got a mug with kids pics on them...she see's kids more and spends a lot on them so wanted to give her a little more)

this year im tossing around making this

anyone have any other ideas?

I'd love some ideas too. Our son's birthmom kept the pregnancy pretty private from most the world including some of her family and her bio children she's parenting, so it would need to be something that could be kept private or didn't scream "HERE'S THE CHILD I PLACED FOR ADOPTION!". We also haven't finalized yet so there's that whole issue with not spending any real quantity of money on something.

What about a charm bracelet? You can pick charms that mean something yet it doesn't scream adoption (or you could make it more adoption related depending on charms for the OP)

FindingMercy, what about a nice journal with a picture DS on the inside with a nice quote?

Re: Christmas Ideas

I do photography, and I took pictures of all my kiddos. I will be framing them in 8x10 frames for bios this year. I am encouraging my older kiddos to make a card or something for bio mom, but that will be up to them. I try to keep it simple. I really want to do something super nice for the parents, but at the same time I would rather spend the money on the children.

Re: Christmas Ideas

For the kiddos bm I think a necklace or locket with their picture in it would be sweet, I still have mine female when e was tiny. For either, a scrap book with pictures made by the kids or a collection of art projects is always special. For bd, if he is into sports maybe a ball signed by the kids or homemade cards (as best you can given their ages heehee.)

Also if you get clay that gets hard you could have to kids do something cute like a handprint or make a small pot out of it, after its hard have them paint it.

Re: Christmas Ideas

We went with a pic of the kids with he saying (for bd)...even though we are not together, keep us in your heart, we'll be there forever. (For bm)...no one will ever know the love I have for you, after all you are the only ones who know what my heart sounds like from the inside
