Diaper Swappers

I do think it's better than the cost of sposies would be, considering it could easily last us to 3.5 years if necessary. And in seriousness, I am pretty sure I will sell off 1/4-1/3 of it (or more) within the first 6-12 months, as I figure out what doesn't work for us, or what we're not using regularly. Plus, we are planning on having a second kid (probably), so I figure with a stash this big, most-- or at least half-- of it will still be usable for Kid #2.

It's, uh... a lot of "prep" laundry, though. Although I will say-- all the PFs and flats are ready to go, so at least I got out of that!

Wow!! Great job and addiction schmadiction....lol you could be addicted to things way worse than diapers....my husband may not agree with this though, lol!! I think you should be all set and you will definitely figure out what you like and what you do not like with a stash like that!! Plus I love to be able to pick and choose what I want to put on them from hour to hour, lol! Have fun!!

It's good to have so many different types because you can figure out what works best for you. And then you can sell off what you don't like. And even if you don't .... there are far worse addictions!!!

Hmmm... Most of them are stashed in the basement closet with all the other baby stuff... I might not get pics today, but I will DEFINITELY update, if not soon, then when I get to washing.

That's a fantastic total for all you got mama!! Once you start selling off what you're not using, you just might break even, making your in-rotation stash FREE!

I started with a huge varied stash because I wanted to try everything, I had less stuff than you and I'm sure I spent more money

I'm glad I tried almost every style of diaper in the beginning but after 6 months I've finally decided to use only pockets (BG 4.0 and Alva) and I stuff them all with Capri inserts. I'm going to sell everything else. Ironically, the only thing I didn't try in the beginning was pocket diapers, ha!

Also - my first baby was a March baby. It's a fabulous month to welcome a new little one.

you have WAY. TOO. MUCH. but I am a minimalist when it comes to stuff. I hate clutter. I would only have 16 all in ones or pockets, and a few covers with inserts. I probably spend $300 max for all new
