Elementals or flip organic inserts?

Which are more absorbent? I have a bunch of elementals and I love them. Are the flip organic inserts as absorbent as the elementals? I would be using them in pocket diapers (4.0s and I have a few sunbaby).

Also does anybody use hemp inserts in their elementals?

Re: Elementals or flip organic inserts?

I would say flip organic is more absorbent, but also bulkier.

I think the flip organics are more absorbent, but they are more bulky. My 2 year old is now leaking out of his elementals under 2 hours. A flip organic in a 4.0 can last through a marathon nap.

Awesome to know!! I will definitely be buying some flip organic inserts :] I don't mind the bulk so much since my son is a little bigger now.

Yep the absorbancy on the organic inserts is pretty impressive. I have a really heavey wetter and we mostly use them throughout the day. She pee's through a normal prefold in an hour tops.

Wow! My DS is a somewhat heavy wetter so that's good to know that organics are pretty good at helping hold some of that! I also bought some hemp inserts that I am hoping to pair with them to help absorb even more.

Will the Organic insert even fit inside of a sunbaby? The crotch area is quite narrow.

I don't care for elementals. Ok I only have one but it consistently leaks. I have a lot of organic inserts and use them in flips, they work great overnight. But to put them in a pocket they are very bulky. I have put them in Happy Heinys when all my flips are dirty at night but they are definitely bulkier in a pocket.
