Diaper Swappers

I got some new charcoal inserts (bamboo and mf)...can I just toss them in with my regular diaper laundry a few times to prep them, or will it leave a film? I use pfs and a few pockets. Thanks!

You can do a few hot washes or you can boil thwm for 30min and then dry.
