I was induced on my dads birthday and he was so excited, his bday present was his very first grandchild lol. So I love their shared birthday, however in your situation I would NOT want that shared birthday!

I don't care. This baby's guess date is 6 days from my birthday, and with DD I went 4 days over. So it's possible for this little one and me to share a birthday. Kind of exciting, but also I'd have to give up my birthday weekend off for birthday slumber parties, I don't mind. The only thing that would bother me is if siblings shared a birthday.

I really don't think I would care about that either way... it's not like her birthday is a significant date to him any longer. So, no, it would not bother me in the least bit.

nope. both x and dh had a gf with my bday. its just a day plus babies rarely come on their "due date"

Nope. I don't even know (or care) when my SO's ex's birthday is. It would have absolutely no significance in my family. So the day would be my child's day.
BTW: Dec 5 is my oldest's birthday!

It does not matter unless dh still cares for his ex-wife. If my kids were born on an unfortunate date meaning they share the same birthdate with someone I am not in good terms with, I will gladly accept it. I want my kids to have their own date.

It would bother me too.our little ne was due around my MIL's birthday, I was so worried he would have to share a birthday with her, I can't imagine what I would have felt if it was potentially an ex wife

There is a great episode of new adventures of old Christine where new Christine holds in the baby until midnight so her baby won't be born on old Christine's birthday. Then she finds out that old Christine's birthday is actually a day later than she thought, so they do share a birthday after all. Great show, highly recommend.
