Teacher Christmas gifts

Looking for ideas for my kids' teachers. 3rd and 6th grade, both female. In the past we have done gift cards but was trying to think of something more original this year. Thanks!

I'm going to do the cookie in a jar things for dd2's teachers. I found a book with several good ideas - I just need to try the recipes I am debating to make sure they're good.

Dd1 is writing a book (she makes up jokes and we save them all year so she can put together a book each year) and giving it to all her various teachers. She did this last year and her teachers still tell me a year later how much they loved that book and that they hope to see book 2 again this year. (they know she is still making up jokes)
