baked oatmeal with yogurt
I've got a wonderful baked oatmeal recipe, and I'm wondering if I could add yogurt for soaking and part of the liquid. If I do this, will I need to decrease the amount of fat added to the final recipe? (We only have full fat dairy products). Or just decrease the liquid?
Mix the dry ingredients: 1/2c sugar 3c regular oats .5 tsp salt 1 tbsp baking powder .5 tsp cinnamon Fold in the wet ingredients: 1/2 cup preferred fat 3 eggs 1 cup milk Soak overnight, bake at 350 for about 30 mins |

I would think you could just sub yogurt for the milk. Maybe use 3/8 c. fat. If your yogurt is *really* tart you might want to up the sugar by a tablespoon or two.
